Information For Librarians

Statement for Librarians

The International Journal of Medical Justice (IJMJ) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by GLAFIMS Academy, committed to advancing scholarly discourse at the intersection of medicine, law, ethics, and forensic science.

We encourage academic and institutional librarians to include IJMJ in their electronic journal collections and databases. As a freely accessible publication under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, IJMJ offers unrestricted access to high-quality, peer-reviewed research without subscription or paywall barriers.

Key features for libraries:

  • Open Access: No subscription fees—freely available to all readers worldwide

  • Indexing: Compatibility with major indexing databases such as DOAJ, Scopus, Index Copernicus, and PubMed

  • Archiving: Long-term digital preservation through OJS (Open Journal Systems) and PKP PLN

  • Interdisciplinary Scope: Ideal for collections in medicine, forensic sciences, public health, law, ethics, and criminal justice

We welcome partnerships with libraries to enhance discoverability and support the global dissemination of knowledge in the field of medical justice. For metadata harvesting, our OAI-PMH endpoint and RSS feeds are available on the journal website.

We encourage research librarians to list this journal among their library's electronic journal holdings. As well, it may be worth noting that this journal's open source publishing system is suitable for libraries to host for their faculty members to use with journals they are involved in editing (see Open Journal Systems).
